BIO
The Rites of Sound are a five-piece based in Melbourne, Australia. The Rites of Sound play original music from hard rock, grungy, punky anthems to acoustic mellow ballads. The band members consist of Simon Daou (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Rob Fickling (lead guitar and vocals), Brae Allen (rhythm guitar and vocals), Aaron Melder (bass guitar and vocals), and Josh Geoughan (drums). Our influences consist of a variety of bands such as Pearl Jam, The Living End, Powderfinger, Led Zeppelin and many more. The band has played at venues such as The Bridge Hotel, Edward's Tavern, Commercial Lounge, The Tote Hotel, The Armadale Hotel, The Greyhound Hotel, and The Esplanade Hotel.
